Mission Statement

 A Union Of, By, and For Government Employees

"For the purpose of promoting unity of action in all matters affecting the mutual interests of government civilian employees in general, all other persons providing their personal service indirectly to the United States Government and for the improvement of government service."

Your local 2199

Your local 2199 is dedicated to providing you with the best and quickest outcomes. They may not always be the outcome that you are wanting but we strive to be beneficial for you. Our goal is to ensure that you are treated fairly and to work with you to get issues resolved with management. We are consistently learning and attending classes to brooding our knowledge base. We are here to provide full transparency in the budget, and what is happening with the local, and to provide updates as we get them to you. Please feel free to stop by the office at any time if you have an issue or just want to get more information on anything.

The political stance that has been publicly displayed by our National President in support of a specific party, is not share by this local, as well as many locals in our district.
